Dear Reader,

If any of these apply to you, you’re the lucky one: AP Taylor Swift, a podcast for Swifties with English degrees (or those who just like to over analyze everything) launches TODAY! We’ve got three episodes to get you started (do yourself a favor and start with our Debut, E1: Enchanted to Meet You: Songs That Made Us Swifties)
Jenn, Maansi, and Jodi did ALL the extra credit to get this podcast out the door. Each episode, we dive into a deep-reading of Taylor Swift’s lyrics to uncover the literary themes, references, and inspirations behind the songs to better understand and interpret why Taylor’s songs resonate so deeply with fans. From metaphors and Alice in Wonderland, to eco criticism and Marxist theory (yes…we go there), we leave no blank spaces—every lyric, hyperbole, and word choice is examined!
